Shannon Murray Born October 19, 1990 in Islington St. Mary. She attended the Marymount high school, an all-girl Catholic school in Highgate St Mary.  She self-funded her tuition at The Edna Manley college, “basically fought my way through while taking care of my son”, where she studied Art Education and graduated with a Bachelor's degree.  She teaches Visual Art and Art and Design at the St George's college. 

“I currently paint, produce carnival costumes during carnival season in Jamaica and design and create crochet clothing”.
